SMCF Vice Chair Bebe Kleinman has been appointed by Arapahoe County Commissioners to serve a three-year term on the foundational Board of the new Arapahoe County Board of Public Health. The new Board was established after Douglas and Adams counties pulled out of the former Tri-County Health Department.
Kleinman has 35 years of experience in the nonprofit sector focusing on the needs of low-income children and families. She has been CEO and President of Doctors Care for 21 years. She holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Management from Regis University and also serves as President of the Board for the Colorado Safety Net Collaborative and is a member of the City of Littleton’s Housing Task Force.
